CHISEL SETS FOR THE PPE MACHINES

The chisel sets for the PPE machines have been specially developed to process all pipe sizes within the reach of the machines. Without the time-consuming adjustment of the chisels. The chisel sets consist of insert holders that are equipped with hard metal inserts. These inserts are suitable for processing various materials. The chisel sets are supplied with a so-called adjusting cone, which makes it possible to adjust the chisels in the right way quickly and easily. PPE-6 chisel set

The 30 ° chisel set of the PBM-6 machine consists of three insert holders. One holder is provided with one insert; two holders are provided with two inserts. The 37.5 ° chisel set consists of two single and two double insert holders. The table below provides an overview of the insert holders and the pipe sizes that can be processed with it. As an example: insert holder no. 1 processes a pipe diameter of 30 mm to 1.5 "and insert holder no. 2 processes a pipe diameter of 1.5" to 3 ".

PPE-16 chisel set

The PBM-16 machine's chisel set consists of 2 double inserts and 2 three double inserts, each with two / three inserts. The table below provides an overview of the insert holders and the pipe sizes that can be processed with it. For example: insert holder No. 2 processes a pipe diameter of 2 "to 3" and the second insert processes 8 ". Insert holder No. 4 processes the pipe diameter 5" and the second insert of insert holder No. 4, machined pipe diameter 12 ".

Processing wall thicknesses larger than 12 mm.

For machining wall thicknesses larger than 12 mm you must mount two or more chisels "one above the other". Special insert holders are required for this operation. The situation then becomes the same as in the drawing (for example No. 1 + No. 2).
